john morse
Associate Therapist
John brings empathy, humanity, and a deep understanding of systemic issues to his role as Associate Therapist. During his time at the University of Washington, John earned a bachelor's degree in sociology, pursuing his lifelong passion for social justice. After completing his degree and moving home to Southern California, John pursued a career as a writer but quickly found that work lonely and unfulfilling. On the recommendation of a few family friends, John realized that a career in social work would allow him to help people individually while pushing to change the systems he saw as unjust. He worked with children in a school setting and both children and adults on the autism spectrum before finding his passion for reentry work in the second year of his master's program. Now, with his master's of social work in hand, John is bringing his unique, person-centered approach to therapy at Mass Liberation. John’s goals are to empower Mass Liberation’s people to achieve their goals and create sustainable living practices for their lives going forward.
